Chhayas Tailoring Designing Collage (CTDC) (erstwhile known as Chhayas Tailoring Collage) was established in year 1934 in Vadodara, Gujarat by Late Shri K G Chhaya who is First Class Cutting Diploma from London and Pune. The first feather to the success crown of Shri Chhayas was Gold Medal from the British Government for his creative work in Coat Making. Following the footsteps of his father on innovation and creativity.
Mr. B K Chhaya took this Collage to what today it is. Over a period of time with changing environment and technology, today, CTDC is a renowned name in field of imparting professional training on Designing and stitching. One of the most interesting facts is its existence as a landmark institution since 80 years and the tradition still being carried forward.
Being a fashion designer & having creative as well as technical capacity, Mr. Vinay B. Chhaya again took an initiative same as his father to expand further. In year 2013, Mumbai branch has been started. Professionals and Non Professionals (students) from across the globe have gained excellence in the field.
Well established professional fashion designer Ms A.k Mithal Bhatt started her career as a co founder of Chhayas Skill academy. She had seeded the foundation of fashion desiging courses and raised the horizon of fashion technology to the next level. Post witness of so many successful year in fashion desiging and Tailoring industry CTDC FASHION ACADEMY pridly got affiliated with Skill development and vocational training of India in year 2019 and now we are very well known as Chhayas Skill Academy Here we find ourselves to more close to our mission of flourish multiple Skills under one umbrella.
